What size should a Mac wallpaper be?
Choose the preset that matches your screen, or enter a custom pixel size. Mac Customise exports the exact dimensions shown in the output summary.
Can I use one of the built-in wallpapers?
Yes. Choose from 12 original wallpapers in Minimal, Nature, and Abstract styles. The full-quality image loads only after you select it.
Does Mac Customise upload my photo?
No. Your photo is read, edited, and exported in your browser. It is not sent to Mac Customise or a conversion service.
Should I choose Fill screen or Fit image?
Choose Fill screen to cover the whole display, with some cropping if the proportions differ. Choose Fit image to keep the full photo visible, with a background color around it when needed.
Why does my image look soft?
The source image may be smaller than the selected output size. You can still export it, but a larger original will usually look sharper.
Can I use a wallpaper on an external monitor?
Yes. Choose Desktop 16:9 or enter the monitor’s exact pixel dimensions with Custom size.
Which is better for wallpapers, JPG or PNG?
JPG usually creates a smaller file for photos. PNG is useful for graphics, text, or images that need transparency.
